Mr Tom is a handsome boy, probably about four to five years old. As a stray he's been living in a garden for several months. He has had to cope with rain, snow and endure below zero temperatures. The lady who feeds him has two cats. They and Mr Tom don't get on so sadly he isn't allowed indoors. The list of strays and other cats waiting to come into our care for rehoming is extremely long so it's going to be a very long time before Mr Tom gets to the top of the list. Meanwhile he continues to live outdoors, braving the elements.

We are pretty sure that Mr Tom is a lapsed domestic cat who once had a home because he has learnt to trust the lady who feeds him. She can now pick him up and says he is very gentle and sweet natured, although wary of strangers. What Mr Tom needs is someone patient and understanding, who will let him come round in his own time.
